The following policy was passed by the Board of
Directors at the Dec. 16 meeting. It was introduced on
first reading at the Nov. 18 meeting.
To fine members $500 per occurrence for the operation of
all-terrain vehicles (ATVs), motorized bikes and
snowmobiles not licensed by PennDOT on Winona Lakes
roads or on property other than the member’s personal
property; and if the fine is unpaid after 10 days, that
the obligation referred to the collections attorney.
The basic discussion at the meeting centered around
this: if the vehicle you are driving cannot be used on
public roads, then you cannot operate it on Winona
roads. You are permitted to use those types of
vehicles only on your own private property.
